Buying WoW Gold Is Illegal

So you are a newer player or maybe you are an experienced player, but you just haven’t figured out how to make gold within the World of Warcraft.  You look into your backpack and see the whopping total of 150 gold total.  You may be longing to buy better gear, extra companion pets, a mountain of mounts, or even just wanting to start another character, but are unsure if you can afford the upkeep on a 2nd character. 

Then one day, you see someone spamming in the WoW Trade Chat Channel that they are selling World of Warcraft Gold.  The prices may seem good, but Do Not Buy Gold.  You don’t know these sellers.  Hell, they may even be prisoners running a gold farming and money making scheme.  Regardless there are many reasons to not buy in game gold for World of Warcraft.

The biggest reason to NOT buy gold is that Buying Gold Can Get Your Account Banned.  Yup!  It’s against the Blizzard and World of Warcraft terms of services (ToS) that you “accept” when you play.  You don’t want all of your hard work to be taken from you.  There are many other reasons why not to buy gold like not being supportive of sweatshop type of activities, but the chance of getting banned is the only reason you should need to steer you away from this illegal gaming activing.
